Why a Health Coach?
Starting a wellness journey can be daunting, especially if it entails making major lifestyle shifts, such as changing the way you eat, adopting a sleep hygiene routine or starting to exercise. With so much health information out there, it can be hard to know what’s right for you and your body. As a certified health coach I can provide individualized support wherever you are on your health journey. We will address your specific needs with a holistic approach. The coaching relationship can play a crucial role in helping you improve your quality of life, and enhance your overall health.
About me...
I’m Kimberly. I am the oldest of 6 children from a blended family. I am wife of 34 years and mother to three amazing adults. I love to play tennis, hike, mountain bike, kayak and practice yoga. I am passionate about all things food; cooking, creating and eating.
I have spent all of my adult years in meaningful helping relationships. A majority of those years were spent home, raising my three children. I have been an active community volunteer as youth group leader, summer camp coordinator, team sports director, along with roles as mentor and teacher. It is from these opportunities that I have gained invaluable experiences as a helper. I decided several years ago to add formal education, training programs and National Board Certification to my resume. I have trained to the highest standard in the health coaching profession. Which means I have the skills and knowledge needed to support you on your journey towards a more healthful, satisfying life.
A few words from my clients...
When I first started meeting with Kim, I was in my second semester of college. I was out of state and having a hard time adjusting. I was nervous about my situation. Kim helped me look at my life, goals, and interests with a point of view that was both confidence-boosting and exciting. She supported my progress with tools that continue to build confidence in myself and my aspirations. Rather than focus on what held me back, we focused on mindset shifts and how they could move me forward. I am grateful for my time with Kim, and I value the tools and guidance she provided me through tough situations.

I had neglected my health for years. Going into my first session with Kim, I was open but uncertain as to how it would go. My experience working with Kim exceeded all my expectations. She’s a great listener, very knowledgeable, and knew how to apply that knowledge to fit my specific situation. She helped me see the importance of making my health a priority and helped me identify simple and sustainable everyday solutions to keep it a priority.

I loved working with Kim! I was having a hard time my senior year of high school with managing stress and setting goals. I also had a lot of anxiety about what to do after high school and making big decisions. She was able to help me get my life in order and help me set manageable goals. Our sessions were very uplifting and helpful. For the first time, I was able to actually make progress with healthy eating, exercise and hydration. Along with that she helped me work on my self confidence and identity. Being able to see myself in a new light gave me a new confidence in who I am. All of it was extremely beneficial!

We found Kim at a pivotal time. Our daughter was struggling with life and refused to get any sort of counseling. She thankfully agreed to work with Kim. It was so helpful for her to have someone to talk to who was able to offer an objective, insightful and positive perspective. Our daughter loved the sessions. To us as parents, it’s invaluable to have a trusted person that our child will confide in and that is able to help with hard things we may not be able to help with or understand. Kim is the best!
